Emergency Services at Fairview Ridges Hospital
Dedicated service for adults and children

You expect hospitals to handle emergencies, but how emergencies are handled sets Fairview Ridges Hospital apart. We have only board certified/eligible emergency doctors ready to care for you 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.

Fairview Ridges Hospital has a chest pain evaluation unit for people who are at low risk to have a heart attack but show some of the symptoms. This service lets us test you for heart trouble without having to admit you to the hospital.

Emergency services has the best available resuscitation equipment, an intensive care unit, on-site surgical staff, digital imaging including x-ray and CT. All of these tools are there to help the emergency doctor and your primary doctor with your care.

We have the only pediatric-designated emergency center south of the Minnesota River. A staff of physicians, nurses and caregivers who have an interest in pediatric emergency medicine treats children and adolescents. The children’s emergency center is open during weekday evenings and weekends when clinics are closed.
